Mt Washington with add ons✨

My absolute favorite piece🥹 this is a Diamond Quilt Mt Washington Victorian piece now featuring brass add ons, velvet, ab crystal gems, faux pearls and red agate stone. I also added a ruby glass stopper to her because it’s just protect. Mt. Washington glass was founded in 1837 and was famous for its heat reactive and cased art glass. They treated blown glass bodies with acid finishes to create a soft, non reflective satin texture that is truly to die for. They regularly combined this texture with a diamond quilted pattern like the piece above which was a process where multiple layers of glass traps tiny air bubbles into geometric lattice designs, creating a distinct three dimensional visual depth.

Mt Washington is highly sought after by collectors and even Queen Victoria herself ordered a set in her time. Absolutely insane and such a beautiful piece of art and history now made functional ✨ and yes she hits!!! And is SO THICK.
